lution + IHAC Generative AI Immersion Day

Empowering In-House Teams with AI Innovation

Time Under Tension partnered with lution to create Australia's first Generative AI Immersion Day, designed specifically for in-house agency teams. Our goal was simple: help marketing teams understand and harness the power of AI tools in their daily work.

Through our research, we discovered that while most in-house creative professionals are excited about AI's potential, many haven't integrated these tools into their workflow. The immersion day bridged this gap, offering hands-on experience with practical AI applications.

Building Confidence Through Practice

Working in small groups, participants gained direct experience with various AI tools under the guidance of our specialised coaches. This practical approach helped demystify AI technology and showed teams how to enhance their creative processes without replacing human creativity.

The session revealed interesting insights about AI adoption in the creative industry. While about 15% of professionals are early adopters, already using AI tools daily, most professionals (70-80%) are interested but haven't found their starting point. Our immersion day served as that crucial first step.

Real Outcomes, Real Impact

The feedback from lution's team highlighted several key learnings:

  • AI works best as a co-pilot, enhancing rather than replacing human creativity

  • Effective AI prompting requires practice and refinement

  • Keeping pace with rapidly evolving AI technology is a shared challenge

Perhaps most importantly, only 15% of surveyed participants expressed concerns about AI's impact on their roles. The day reinforced that AI isn't about replacing jobs - it's about empowering professionals who know how to use it effectively.

This collaboration with lution demonstrated that when teams learn AI skills together in a practical, supportive environment, they're better equipped to embrace these tools in their creative work.

The event was held at Brewmanity brew pub in South Melbourne, an amazing venue we would highly recommend.
