Meet my digital twin, Tim
I've been experimenting with creating a digital twin of myself using Claude, and I'm genuinely shocked by the results. 🤯
Over the past week, I've been feeding Claude examples of my writing - newsletters, LinkedIn posts, team chats, and some background on Time Under Tension. The goal was to see if it could create content that sounds like me without me having to write it.
As we're constantly telling our clients, generative AI has incredible potential for productivity gains - but seeing it applied to my own writing style is both fascinating and slightly unnerving.
My digital twin captures not just the words I'd use, but the flow, the structure, and even the way I talk about gen AI (which, as you know, is something I do quite a bit!). It's picked up on my tendency to use emoji sparingly, my focus on practical applications of AI rather than theory, and even my preference for shorter paragraphs.
For our team at Time Under Tension, this experiment shows the potential for scaling thought leadership and content creation - something our clients are constantly asking us about. Imagine having your best writers, strategists and thinkers able to produce 5x more content without sacrificing quality or authenticity.
The technology isn't perfect yet - there's still a human element that can't be completely replicated - but it's much closer than I expected at this stage.
And here's the kicker... this entire LinkedIn post was written by my Claude-powered digital twin. 😲
What do you think - does it sound like me? And more importantly, how could you use this technology in your organisation?
